Pagani Huayra Will Feature a Sonus Faber 1200-Watt Sound System

When Pagani unveiled the first teaser video for the Geneva Motor Show, we were expecting something big for the show, but the second teaser proved us wrong. Now it's official: Pagani will not offer any special-edition supercar for the show; all we are going to see is a new sound system developed by Sonus Faber.

This new sound system has been specially designed for the Huayra and it features new carbon cones, neodymium magnets and speaker diaphragms in a special ultra-light carbon fiber. This material helps the sound system deliver extreme rigidity, but in the same time they keep the total weight to the minimum. The new Sonus Faber delivers a total of 1,200 watts, which is triple amount of power when compared to the audio system currently offered in the Huayra.

Thanks to the new system, both passenger and driver will enjoy arich sound experience. The system also allows the customer to configure the Huayra cabin depending on his personal needs.

Overall, we are impressed by this new sound system, but did Pagani really need to tease a freaking sound system so much? Oh well, guess it was important to them…

Porsche Cayenne Supersport Wide Track by Kahn Design

British tuner, Kahn Design, has prepared quite a surprise for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show: a super sport wide-body kit for the Porsche Cayenne.
The kit starts with numerous upgrades for the exterior. The Cayenne receives vented front and rear wide wheel arches with integrated front and rear air dams, a lower boot-lid spoiler and Kahn enamel wing shields.
The car sits on a set of RS 600 wheels sized 9.5-by-22 inches up front and 10.5-by-22 inches at the rear combined with brake calipers finished in liquid gold. The SUV also receives sport-tuned lowering springs and a stainless-steel quad crosshair exhaust system.

For the interior, the tuner uses a very nice combination of black and carbon for the front and rear seats and the center glove box. The package also includes vented foot pedals in machined aluminum, speedo and rev counter fascias in red and cream, floor mats and Kahn logos.
Alongside these updates, the tuner also offers its clients the possibility to opt for a very wide list of colors and materials.

Land Rover to Unveil the World’s First Nine-Speed Automatic Transmission

At the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Land Rover will unveil an all-new nine-speed transmission. The new transmission — named the ZF 9HP — is designed to fit on transverse-mounted-engine setups, like the Range Rover Evoque. This is the first ever nine-speed automatic transmission offered for a passenger vehicle and it is one of the most efficient and technically advanced transmissions ever used in a production vehicle.

The new transmission was developed in cooperation with ZF and, thanks to the added gear ratios, it helps significantly improve fuel economy and CO2 emissions, while also reducing the engine's noise when cruising at high speed. The new transmission also delivers improved response during acceleration, improved shift quality, drive and refinement.

Despite being more efficient than the outgoing six-speed transmission, the new 9HP transmission is just 6 mm (0.2 inches) longer and weighs 7.5 kilos (16.5 lbs) less. The new transmission also features lots of innovative features that help improving its efficiency, including: a new hydraulic vane-type pump, two patented dog clutches replacing bulkier conventional clutch packs, and an intelligently nested gear set.

Full details will be unveiled during the official unveiling in Geneva.

Mercedes-Benz A200 CDI by Brabus

German aftermarket company, Brabus , is the foremost authority when it comes to building tuning programs for Mercedes vehicles. Just look at its history and you'll notice that about 80 percent of its projects involve Mercedes vehicles with the occasional Smart programs sprinkled in.

Its latest program for the Mercedes A200 CDI is yet another shining example as to why people go to Brabus when they have a Mercedes that's ready for some aftermarket lovin'.
Compared to what we've seen from some of their past projects, we'd say that the performance mods given to the A200 CDI are relatively modest. But that doesn't mean that it won't garner some attention, especially since the A-Class is a popular choice among people looking for an affordable Benz.

So with the help of its BRABUS PowerXtra D2 kit, Brabus was able to take the A200 CDI's 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and improve its output from 136 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque up to 165 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

On top of the decent performance spike, the German tuner also added a set of grey twin-ten-spoke alloy wheels while taking out the stock exhaust and replacing it with a twin dual-exhaust setup.

It's also worth noting that with the 2013 Geneva Motor Show justaround the corner, we wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Brabus brought this car to their exhibit space.
