Ferrari F40 With Sexy Models By ItzKirb Photography

Ferrari F40 With Sexy Models By ItzKirb Photography gassguzzler

Don’t ever make the mistake of describing the Ferrari F40 as a relic supercar. Sure, it’s been around longer than some of us have been alive, but the F40 is considered one of the most iconic Ferrari exotics in the world.
It is powered by a 2,936cc twin turbocharged, alloy 90° V8 putting out an astonishing 478bhp at 7000rpm and 424 lb-ft of torque at 4500rpm. This engine is combined with dual overhead cams controlling four valves per cylinder, a dry sump lubrication system, separate electronic ignition and fuel injection systems for each bank of cylinders, and a Weber-Marelli engine control system. It is mated to a fully synchronised 5-speed manual system with hydraulically actuated single-plate clutch.
The F40 is one of those supercars that can definitely stand on its own in a photoshoot, but photographer ItzKirb doesn’t roll that way. Where there is an exotic in his eyes, there has to be a beautiful women just right beside it.
So there she is, the lovely Hope, a woman with a body that would make men weep. She’s got a cute face too so that’s an added delight. Put her in a photo with a car like the F40 and you’re bound to get a lot of drool in whoever’s using what computer to check out these photos.
Don’t miss out on this saucy photoshoot because you’re going to regret it if you do. Click on the images to get a full-size view..

BMW M3 "Sporty Drive" by G-Power

BMW M3 "Sporty Drive" by G-Power gassguzzler

The German tuner G-Power has unveiled yet another tuning kit for BMW M3. Called "Sporty Drive," this new version adds up to 25 percent more power for the car’s V-8 engine and it can be combined with updated suspensions and, of course, a new set of wheels.
The new "Sporty Drive" system is being offered in three versions: SK I, SK II and SK II CS, with the latest one adding up to 190 horsepower to the car’s standard 420 horsepower. All versions include a TU (Technical Update) supercharger system with modified air intake housing, a larger racing air filter and modified ECU software.
On the exterior, the changes are being kept to a minimum and they only include a new set of 20-inch wheels plus a new stainless steel rear sport silencer with 4 x 83 mm tail pipes.

BMW M3 by Velos Designwerks 2012

BMW M3 by Velos Designwerks 2012 gassguzzler

When you’re dealing with a sports coupe, like the BMW M3, it’s important to exercise a certain level of caution, particularly because of the many aftermarket programs for the car that are already in existence.
Nevertheless, Velos Designwerks did itself proud on this one, giving the German sports car an array of aerodynamic and performance modifications that gave the M3 a sportier and more aggressive look to go with an enhanced power.
Beginning with the exterior, the M3 was given a number of new components, including a new carbon fiber-front splitter to go with a set of dark-bronze lightweight forged alloy wheels. Velos Designwerks also lowered the car’s ride height and increased its handling characteristics via a KW V3 suspension lowering system. The M3’s stopping power was also improved with a new Brembo brake setup.
Moving on to the performance side, the BMW M3 already packs a mean punch with a 4.0-liter V-8 engine that produces 420 horsepower. Apparently, 420 ponies still isn’t enough for Velos Designwerks and thanks to their ESS VT625 supercharger kit, it managed to add another 200 horsepower to the M3, giving a staggering total of 620 ponies under its hood.

SRT Viper Music Video

SRT Viper Music Video gassguzzler

SRT has unveiled a new video for its latest Viper sports car. The video is dubbed "Music Video" and does exactly as it says — shows the Viper in action with a nice soundtrack in the background. One of the coolest parts of the video is that is shows off the viper in several colors, so we get better look at the available-color pallet.
For those of you who still do not know, the SRT Viper is powered by a new 8.4-liter V-10 engine that delivers a total of 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. The new engine mates to an improved Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. This combination launches the Viper from 0 to 60 mph in just 3 seconds and allows it to hit a top speed of 206 mph.

The Viper can be all yours for a price of $97,395, or $120,395 if you opt for the GTS version. If you’re still a little short on cash, you can simply enjoy the video for now.

Making of the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series Brochure

We saw the new Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show and we have also seen it in action. Now it’s time to learn how the SLS AMG Black Series brochure is put together. Not exactly the same as seeing the car in action on the race track, but it is still an important piece to the supercar’s puzzle.
Watch the above video to get a good look at the editing that went into taking technical drawings and turning them into brochure-worthy images. It’s a pretty sweet video, despite the fact that we don’t get to see the SLS AMG Black Series scream around at all.
In case you forgot just how bad-ass the car is, it’s powered by an improved version of the 6.3-liter V-8 engine that delivers a total of 622 horsepower at 7,400 rpm and 468 pound-feet of torque at 5,500 rpm. The supercar uses this monstrous power to hit a top speed of 195 mph.
Enjoy the video!

Volkswagen Golf VI GTI "Last Edition" by ABT Sportsline

Volkswagen Golf VI GTI "Last Edition" by ABT Sportsline gassguzzler

Now that Volkswagen has released the Golf Mk7, there’s a good chance that people will just as likely forget about the Golf Mk6 as they would a past-her-prime starlet.
Some folks like giving send-offs, and ABT Sportsline did just that with the Golf GTI Mk6.
It figures that ABT would have a soft spot for the Golf; after all, it’s been building programs for compact sports car since 1976. With its latest project, called the "Last Edition,” ABT continues that tradition with an extensive aerodynamic and performance program.
The expressive look of the Golf GTI "Last Edition" manifests itself in the deep metallic black paint finish that blends perfectly with the red accents. Add that a slew of aero components and the Golf GTI transforms itself into a true pocket rocket. A new rear spoiler and rear skirt add-on, side skirts, a modified front grill and skirt, and a diagonal 4-pipe exhaust system all make up the aesthetic upgrades. Completing it is a redesigned front lip that combines with the front skirt and the ABT daytime running lights to extract a look of sporty aggression to the Golf GTI.
In terms of performance, the Golf GTI "Last Edition" was treated to a significant power bump courtesy of ABT’s optimized engine management, improving the Golf GTI’s output from 211 horsepower to 260 ponies. If that’s not enough, ABT is also offering their Power S turbocharger that takes the Golf GTI’s output to 310 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
Obviously, an increase of just less than 100 horsepower in a petite 4-pot engine is likely well worth the price of admission – a price that we don’t yet know.

Ferrari California by CDC Performance

While everyone’s attention is being directed toward the new Ferrari F12berlinetta, CDC Performance has unveiled a tuning kit for the oft-forgotten Ferrari California. It includes a basic exterior upgrade, but the most impressive changes have been made under the hood.
The exterior kit includes a new front spoiler, rear diffuser and front grille — all made in carbon fiber. Inside the California, the only modification is the addition of Alcantara with Rosso stitching.
As you can see, the exterior and interior modifications have been kept to a minimum because the tuner’s attention is focused on what lays beneath the hood. The California’s V-8 engine is been equipped with a supercharger system with intercooling that increases the output to a total of 600 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque – that’s an increase of 117 horsepower and 70 pound-feet of torque. The model has also been equipped with a new standalone exhaust system that offers up a beautiful symphony of engine noise.

The tuner also installed a suspension lift system that can lower or raise the ride height by 40 millimeters (1.5 inch). The car rolls on a set of forged alloy wheels, measuring in at 9-by-21 inches up front and 12-by-22 inches out back. The wheels are wrapped in 255/30R21 and 315/25R22 tires, respectively.

Porsche Registers the "919" Moniker

Porsche Registers the "919" Moniker gassguzzler

A few weeks ago it was reported that Porsche was preparing to add a new sports car to its lineup. It has also been rumored that the new model — set to be placed between the 911 and the 918 — will be called the 961. The latter rumor may not come to fruition, as Porsche has just registered the "919" name at a German patent office. The new combination of numbers is listed as a "word mark,” meaning that it will be used in an upcoming production model.
What we cannot tell for sure is if this newly trademarked model is indeed the long-rumored sports car. The uncertainty seeps in because the "919" name make us think of a model placed above the 918, not between the 911 and 918.
The "919" name was registered in October and in the past few days it was entered in the patent register. We expect to hear more details about this new model in the upcoming months, so stay tuned!

Switzer Ultimate Street Edition Now Offered as a Production Model

Switzer Ultimate Street Edition Now Offered as a Production Model gassguzzler

Back in June, Switzer Performance unveiled its Ultimate Street Edition based on the Nissan GT-R, but at that point no one imagined that the model will enjoy such a great success. Switzer announced today that the tuner just moved from its 4,500 square-foot garage to a 105,000 square-foot complex in order to expand its tuning operations.
This new complex will be used to produce company’s new Ultimate Street Edition GT-R in limited-edition fashion. In the future, however, Switzer hopes to expand production to several cars per month.
The model will be available at selected Nissan dealers at an $88,990 premium over the GTR’s base sticker price. For the money you will get a GT-R powered by a heavily modified 3.8-liter V-6 engine that delivers a total of 1,000 horsepower, allowing the GT-R to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in the 2 second range. This Ultimate Street Edition GT-R will have a top speed of 200 mph.
"We took a small performance garage and turned it into a supercar factory. That’s the simplest way to put it, but we really changed everything about the way the shop operates. We have a section of the shop now that focuses on complete, ‘turnkey’ converted cars," says David Kim, CEO of Switzer Performance. "The Ultimate Street Edition GTR is that team’s focus."

Audi AS5 Coupe by ABT Sportsline

Audi AS5 Coupe by ABT Sportsline gassguzzler

Not one to be left out of all the fun at the 2012 Essen Motor Show, ABT Sportsline decided to join in on all the festivities by bringing a number of aftermarket programs, including one for the Audi A5 Coupe.
Visually, the AS5 Coupe is treated to a host of new aerodynamic components, which add a sportier look to the car and provide enhanced performance capabilities. From the front lip spoiler to the side skirts, the fender inserts, the rear skirt, the rear spoiler and the quad-pipe exhaust system, each of these new components are fitted to the AS5 with the goal of giving the sports car an edgier look and feel to it. Add the lowered suspension springs, coil-over kit and a set of CR or DR alloy wheels, and you have a sports coupe that’s primed and ready to throw down against the field.
At the heart of ABT Sportsline’s modification program is the series of performance enhancements given to the entire engine lineup. For starters, the 1.8-liter TFSI model received an output boost to 211 horsepower — up from the 170 ponies the model carried in standard guise. Then there’s the 2.0 TFSI, which sees its output rise from 211 horsepower all the way up to 270 horsepower.
Not one to be left out in the cold, the AS5 2.0-liter Turbodiesel also got into the mix, as is receives a power bump from 177 horsepower to 205 horsepower. The 3.0-liter diesel variant rounds out the diesel engines by jumping from its standard 245 horsepower to a more thrilling 300 horsepower.
Finally, the most powerful AS5 of them all… The 3.0-liter gasoline engine, now packs a whopping 380 horsepower, a stout 108-horsepower increase from the standard 272 ponies.

Mercedes SL500 by Lorinser

2012 Mercedes SL500 by Lorinser gassguzzler

Press days for the Los Angeles Auto Show ended a few days ago and on December 1st, a new show opened in Europe: Essen Motor Show. For those that don’t know, Essen is basically a European version of SEMA. The German tuner, Lorisen, will arrive at Essen with a tuning kit based on the Mercedes SL500.
The tuner changed almost every aspect of the car and, of course, it started with the exterior. The aerodynamic kit includes a new grille and larger air inlets, new side skirts that make the SL look lower. The package continues with a flared front bumper, extended rear bumper, a rear deck lid spoiler and a built-in diffuser with the Lorinser sports exhaust’s four end pipes poking out of the diffuser’s cutouts. The car sits on a set of 20-inch light-alloy RSK8 wheels wrapped in 255/30R20 front tires and 295/25R20 rear tires.
Under the hood, the V-8 engine receives a reprogrammed ECU with increased bi-turbo boost that increases the power from the standard 435 horsepower to 530 horsepower and the torque up to an impressive 590 pound-feet. Also, the tuner removed the speed limiter so that now the SL500 can hit a top speed of 173 mph.
In order to make the car even more aggressive, Lorinser also installed lowering kit that can be controlled using a button on the steering wheel. For the interior the tuner is offering any desired combination made in aluminum, wood or carbon look.

Toyota GT86 by Barracuda 2013

2013 Toyota GT86 by Barracuda gassguzzler

We’ll be the first to admit that we have some sort of auto-crush on the Toyota GT86. Actually, it extends to the Subaru BRZ and the Scion FR-S too but since we’re talking about the GT86 here, we’re going to give extra love to Toyota’s spanking-new sports coupe.
So, when an aftermarket company releases a program for the GT86, our senses become heightened because if there’s one thing this world can’t have enough of — apart from food and water, that is — it’s tuning programs for the GT86.
Swiss tuning firm, Barracuda Racing Wheels, decided to make our day by revealing its own take on the GT86. Despite not carrying any performance mods, BRW’s aerodynamic program for the GT86 is downright stunning. The huge rear wing that was installed on the GT86 will definitely catch your attention. But not just an eye-catcher, as it’s got some serious purpose too, improving the car’s overall handling by adding some needed downforce to keep the sports coupe from flying off the road.
The real stars of BRW’s program are the bespoke wheels bolted onto the GT86. These 20-inch alloy rims can be had in a variety of color finishes, including matte black; polished, hi-gloss-black; real-chrome; white-polished; and gun-metal. If those colors aren’t enough, Barracuda can also offer them in a variety of candy tones.
Sure, this program for the GT86 doesn’t have any performance mods. But rest assured, if you’re in the market for aero improvements and new rims for your new Toyota sports coupe, Barracuda Racing Wheels is your hook-up.

Mercedes SL-Class by Brabus

2013 Mercedes SL-Class by Brabus gassguzzler

Brabus will likely have the busiest stand at the Essen Motor Show. Here is yet another incredible tuning package launched by the German tuner. It is based on the Mercedes SL500 and will add plenty of extra pop its base engine, as well as exterior and interior upgrades.
Under the hood, Brabus installed 520 PowerXtra CGI module with plug-and-play design, an auxiliary water-to-air intercooler powered by an auxiliary electric pump and, of course, a stainless-steel sport exhaust system with four chrome-plated tailpipes.
As a result, the output has been increased from the standard 435 horsepower to 520 horsepower, while peak torque has been raised to 604 pound-feet. Brabus uninstalled the speed limiter and replaced it with a variable one that allows the customer to choose from a top speed of 155, 172 or 186 mph. This upgrade also allows the SL500 to launch from a stop to 62 mph in just 4.4 seconds.
The exterior receives some significant updates, including new front fenders with side air vents, new side skirts and a new rear spoiler. Brabus also added a set of wheels, offered in four different sizes — 18, 19 and 20 inches — and in three designs, Monoblock F, Q or R wheels. The wheels have been combined with custom-tailored suspension components, which were designed in cooperation with Bilstein, and an electronic lowering module that can lower the car’s ride by 0.98 inches.

Nissan GTR Switzer P800 0 to 180mph, Part II

About two weeks ago, we brought you the first video showing the Nissan GT-R P800 by Switzer in action from 0 to 180 mph, but that video was filmed from inside the car. Now it is time for a second one and this time you have the chance to watch see the car in all its glory, thanks to multiple camera angles.
The video was shot on a private airstrip and it shows multiple accelerations clips from outside of the car, from a standstill. This piece of Japanese beauty manages to hit an incredible 184 mpg in an even more astounding 0.9 miles.
The P800 is equipped with Password JDM exhaust, test pipes, x-pipe, and other mods that have increased the engine’s output up to 800 horsepower and almost 700 pound-feet of torque. What an awesome vehicle.
Enjoy the video!

Subaru BRZ by Bee Racing 2013

An aftermarket turning company often finds ways to make its programs stand out from the rest of the competition. In some cases, it’s for the better but there are those times when the result is just plain weird.
Bee Racing’s program for the Subaru BRZ is a combination of both.
The program is impressive because Bee Racing not only installed an aero kit, but then combined it with a modified interior, a new set of wheels, an DG5-built suspension, an aftermarket header, a custom-built muffler, and a Tomei limited-slip differential. More importantly, though, is that Bee Racing acknowledges that the project is still far from a finished product.
The body kit, which comes courtesy of Rocket Bunny, required the Bee Racing to tweak the BRZ’s front end to look more like a Toyota GT 86 just so it could install the aero kit. While doing that, Bee Racing also installed Bride racing seats and a Drift Works steering wheel.
Here’s where it gets weird, though. We get the part — to a certain degree — about giving the BRZ a facelift to make it look like a GT 86. What we don’t get are the Scion badges slapped into the BRZ. Did Bee Racing want to run the full gamut of all three sports cars sisters in one vehicle?
If you’re prepared to let that one go, you have to admit that this project car actually looks pretty amazing. We can’t wait to see Bee Racing add a little more performance to this package.

Nissan GT-R 2014

2014 Nissan GT-R gassguzzler

Last month, Nissan unveiled the Japanese specifications for the 2013 Nissan GT-R and announced that the 2014 U.S. model year will be making its world debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. As we expected, the 2014 U.S.-spec GT-R will be nearly identical to the 2013 JDM-spec GT-R, but American customers will enjoy a few more updates, thus avoiding completely disappointing us.
The updates are mostly limited to minor tweaks to the engine’s internals. Despite these minor adjustments, the 2014 GT-R will carry over the same output specifications as it had in 2013. AS we all know, horsepower is only a portion of the equation. You also need to reach the peak-output rpm in an efficient manner, and this is where Nissan made most of its changes – what most people simply refer to a “throttle response.”
So, are these improvements worthy of trading in your 2013 model year for?

Lexus IS F Twin Turbo "Black Mamba" by Fox Marketing

Lexus IS F Twin Turbo "Black Mamba" by Fox Marketing gassguzzler

Fox Marketing knows how to put together aftermarket programs for Lexus vehicles. Apparently, it also knows how to develop a good nickname for it.
This program for the Lexus IS F Twin Turbo is dubbed the “Black Mamba,” an appropriate name given just how dark and foreboding the project is. For this program, which was commissioned by a customer, Fox Marketing gave it some extra character that belies the car’s sporty and aggressive nature.
To begin with, the aftermarket specialist gave the IS-F Turbo dual wastegates with dunk tubes, a pair of rear-mounted Turbonetics turbochargers and an intercooler. Hanging out of the back end are four stacked exhaust tips, bringing an end to the total of 114 feet of custom piping used in this customize IS-F.
On top of the performance upgrades, full sheet metal fender flares, a plastic welded rear bumper, side skirts, new headlights with daytime running lights, and smoked rear taillights painted in BASF Refinish R-M Oynx HD Waterborne Black paint all provide an improved look and feel to the sports sedan. Rounding out the exterior modifications is a set of 20-inch iForged Performance alloy wheels that have been reinforced with Alpine White bolts and wrapped in 20-inch T1R Toyo Tires.
As for the interior, Fox Marketing again went with the Alpine White treatment, dressing it up in such a way that not only contrasts the exterior look, but greatly complements it too.
The total output of this program has not been provided, but we expect Fox Marketing to release the information sometime soon, so stay tuned!

Audi TT GT3 Could Be Under Development

Audi TT GT3 Could Be Under Development gassguzzler

At the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Audi unveiled the TT-RS Plus — a faster version of the current TT-RS. It looks like the good news may not stop there, as according to Audi’s development boss, Wolfgang Durheimer, in the near future we may see a hardcore, super-light Audi TT. According to sources, the package would be almost like the package that Audi’s sister company, Porsche, uses on its 911 GT3.
First details suggest that, if produced, this revised TT would be built on the usual MQB architecture, but it would combine steel, aluminum and carbon fiber in an attempt to keep its curb weight around 2,200 pounds. Under the hood, Audi would install a five-cylinder engine and pair it with its world-renowned Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
The project has yet to receive the green light from the bosses at Audi, but, according to sources, a final decision will be made next week. If it’s anything like the 911 GT3, we are prepared to be wowed all over again by the TT.

Audi R8 by Regula Tuning

Audi R8 by Regula Tuning 2013 gassguzzler

Since Audi R8 dropped onto the market in 2008, it has been repeatedly recognized as one of the most gorgeous cars to brace the asphalt. That, of course, is because many people simply consider it a designing masterpiece. So, when companies like Regula Tuning come with these kinds of tuning packages we can’t help but scratch our heads and wonder “why?”
Regula Tuning’s body kit is made from aramid (aromatic polyamide) and it is offered for the coupe and roadster models. While everything in this body kit is taken to the extreme, that central air inlet and the two lateral "fellows" under the headlights are pretty over the top. In order to wrap your R8 in this kit, you’ll have to pony up €7,698 — about $9,950 at the current exchange rates.
If the body kit isn’t enough, Regula Tuning also offers up a set of 20-inch Oxigin wheels measuring in at 8.5 inches wide at the front and 11 inches wide at the rear.
To avoid being 100-percent aesthetic, Regula Tuning is also offering a tuning chip for €1,398 euro ($1,800) that will increase the output of your V-10 engine up to 560 horsepower – a 35-horsepower bump.
With exception to the tuning chip, we can live without this upgrade. However, this type of over-the-top kit just might be up your ally…

Jesse Preston and the Ferrari 458 Italia

Usually what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! But luckily for you guys, not this time. Jesse Preston had a very interesting meeting with the Ferrari 458 Italia.
Wait, who?
Yes, we are sure you really do not know who Jesse Preston is. Now, that your girlfriend or wife is not around, you can admit it; you have the entire Playboy collection hidden somewhere in your room and you know Jesse Preston quite well. Today you get know her even better…
She was invited by the folks over Exotics Racing take a leisurely spin in a Ferrari 458 Italia. By “leisurely spin” we, of course, mean drifting at break-neck speeds. Apparently she was quite impressed, or maybe scared nearly to death, by the way a 458 Italia drifts in the twist.
And no Jesse, that is not the way to wear a seat-belt. Well, it’s not the correct way to wear one if you expect it to keep you safe, at least. Its positioning is rather, um, "strategic" to say the least. Watch the video to see what we are talking about.
